BLOGS FOR BUSH

Oh, It's ON!!!

Ugarte of Rick's Cafe Americain has picked up the gauntlet and now, if and when Virginia kicks FSU up and down Doak Campbell Stadium in front of 80,000+ confused FSU fans, The Daily Blitz will be prominently advertized for a week at Rick's Cafe Americain.  Of course, should disaster strike and UVa lose, Rick's will be prominently featured here at TDB.  What make s this even more interesting is that while Rick's can, I think, fairly be called a "lefty" site, it is home to those rarest, nearly mythical creatures known as "sane lefties."  No, really!!  In fact, Rick called yesterday's debate for Bush while Ugarte called it for Kerry by the narrowest of margins.  Amazing objectivity, really.  So, what makes me think that they are not on the Bush bandwagon?  Well, I read their "Simuliveblogging" of the debate and a little clue started to form around question 19, by which time Rick (who, remember, called the debate for Bush) was calling the President a "dickweed."  OK, sane but passionate lefties.   Also, Ugarte is a Yankee fan who plays poker, so he's OK with me.

You guys should check out Rick's Cafe Americain, which is going on the blogroll regardless of how the game turns out.

P.S.  I'm looking for a little help designing a TDB logo.  If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

P.P.S.  If anyone else wants in on this little wager, it's still open.
